Meet Jasmine
Hi, I'm Jasmine, an Endorsed Registered Midwife, born and raised in Northern NSW, where I still live with my three children.
Becoming a midwife was always the dream. I'm now heading into my seventh year, having started at Gold Coast University Hospital and now working closer to home at John Flynn Private Hospital, plus postnatal home visits in the community.
I believe in honest, evidence-based, practical education that prepares you for birth and life with a new baby. There are no silly questions here.
Outside of work, you'll find me in the sunshine, by the ocean, or chauffeuring my three kids between life's adventures. I can't wait to share my knowledge and passion for midwifery with you.

What is an endorsed registered midwife?
An endorsed registered midwife is a midwife with additional qualifications recognised by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Endorsement means a broader scope of care and the ability to provide Medicare-rebated and bulk-billed services.
Do you bulk-bill, and how does Medicare work?
Yes. As an endorsed midwife and registered Medicare provider, Jasmine can bulk-bill eligible appointments, which means no out-of-pocket cost for those services. Every situation is a little different, so she'll talk you through exactly what you're eligible for when you enquire.
What do your antenatal classes cover?
The classes prepare you and your support person for labour, birth and the first weeks at home, covering pain-relief options, what to expect in labour, newborn care, feeding and settling. They can be run one-on-one or as a small group, and your support person is always welcome.
Which areas do you service?
Jasmine provides care from the Gold Coast down to the Northern Rivers, including Tweed Heads, Byron Bay, Ballina and Lismore. Home visits are available across this area, so care can come to you.
Do you visit at home?
Yes. Home visits are available for both antenatal and postnatal care, so your appointments can happen in the comfort of your own space, without a trip to a clinic.
Can I see you alongside my hospital or GP care?
Absolutely. Private midwifery care can complement your existing pregnancy care. Jasmine will work in with your circumstances, so just let her know who else is involved in your care.
When should I get in touch?
Earlier is always better so your care and classes can be planned around your due date, but you're welcome to reach out at any stage of pregnancy or after birth.
